Rockdale County runners entered in Saturday’s Richmond Hill sectional

Rockdale County High School has seven boys and five girls listed in the qualifying-race entries for the GHSA Class 7A Sectional 1 cross-country meet on Saturday, October 31. The published entry list also includes three Rockdale County boys in the separate second-squad race. Entries identify registered athletes, not confirmed starters.

The meet is scheduled at Richmond Hill High School in Richmond Hill. The varsity boys’ race is set for 9 a.m., followed by the varsity girls at 9:40 a.m.

Under GHSA’s 2026–27 rules, 12 teams from each sectional advance to state. The first 20 individual finishers in each boys’ and girls’ sectional qualifying race also advance, whether or not their team qualifies.
